Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA) is a nonprofit organization setting the standard in interactive marketing in Arizona through education, events, networking, scholarships, and recognition of excellence. Driven by an extreme passion for interactive marketing, AZIMA constantly seeks to raise the bar by improving our members’ understanding and application of industry best practices. Recognizing that all areas of interactive marketing work together to drive results, each interactive discipline—search, social, local, mobile, Web, email, display, video, lead generation, optimization, analytics—is integrated in our programs and events through the year.

Each year, with 10 monthly dinner events, the TIM Awards, and our holiday mixer, AZIMA brings the equivalent of a three-day conference like SMX or SES directly to our membership. Job Summary:
Manages the marketing and public relations program of the Resource Development Department. Plans and prepares a variety of advertising, news releases, social media stories and other publications. Maintains liaison with all ten colleges and the community at large. Coordinates special events and arranges speaking opportunities for college and foundation leaders. Manages budget and assists management in objectives. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:
50% - Responsible for marketing and advertising plan implementation
25% - Coordinates marketing efforts with colleges
10% - Manages special events
10% - Develops presentations and schedules public appearance opportunities for leaders
5% - Responsible for budget tracking and other related reports

- Three or more (3) years’ experience in marketing & public relations
- Bachelor degree in related field
- Experience writing and coordinating media relations presentations
- Experience developing advertising and marketing materials
- Experience coordinating events
- Experience with design, layout, editing of publications
- Experience with coordinating fund-raising events to maximize profit
- Project management with more than five partner agencies preferred
